Garden Planner is a free tool for designing vegetable gardens. We built it to be simple and privacy-friendly: there is no account to create, and the gardens you plan stay on your own device. This page explains, in plain language, what data is involved when you use the site.
No account required
You do not need to sign up, log in, or give us your name to use Garden Planner. You can open the planner and start designing right away.
Your gardens stay on your device
The garden layouts you create are saved in your browser using localStorage. That means your plans live on your own device and are not uploaded to a server or shared with us. If you clear your browser data, use a different browser, or switch devices, your saved gardens will not carry over.
Optional feedback
If you choose to send feedback through the in-app feedback widget, we receive the message you write and, only if you decide to include it, your email address. We use this solely to understand how the tool is working and to reply if you asked a question. Providing feedback and your email is entirely optional.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not build advertising profiles from your garden plans or your feedback.
